That's the short answer.  The long one is that you can do whatever you
want to as long as it stays within your house.  But you have no license
that would allow to redistribute the merged result.

Note that this also means that hyperlinking GPLed software like Emacs
with its GFDLed manual and copying examples back and forth between
manual and software is only feasible for the copyright holder.

Which is not really pretty.
