Not being able to type in de the windows-window |

Hello, I'm new to LilyPond. In fact, I only installed the latest
Windowsversion yesterday.
When I click the GNU LilyPond icon a black window opens with a waiting
cursor. When I want to type lilypond --help, nothing happens. No
letters appear on the black surface of the opened window. What do I do
wrong?
The installation was faultless.
