Follow-up Comment #1:

Through pyGnuastro <https://github.com/Jash-Shah/pyGnuastro>, we now have
Python wrappers for Gnuastro. So I am closing this task. 

At this moment, pyGnuastro is packaged in test.pypi
<https://test.pypi.org/project/pygnuastro>, however, it doesn't have much
functionality. With the completion of task #16263, we will be able to easily
insert many functions in pyGnuastro :-).
