FYI, when implementing the IBM *extension* special registers (of which TALLY
is just one - along with LENGTH OF, RETURN-CODE, etc) make certain that you
check out the information on which are GLOBAL and which are not.  This is a
"medium obscure" feature that may impact some existing programs.
