I believe this is a known issue with 3.2 that has since been fixed;
upgrading to version 3.4 is recommended, as it should (hopefully) be less
buggy, and it is definitely a stronger engine. Version 3.4 is available
from the gnugo website at http://www.gnu.org/software/gnugo/gnugo.html.
