[gnugo-devel] unions in gcc 2.95

hello
i have to admit i didnt test it other than GNU compilers.
but i thought unions inside structures is standard ?
in the worst case one would have to put back the
ifdef __GNUC__
which i have removed maybe too early.
i only have gcc, so i cannot try it, could somebody
else do it ?
(bye the way even gcc 2.95 compiles the anonymous union
if you use the C++ option)
