In order to solve the problem with Epydoc:

can we switch to Happydoc instead? http://happydoc.sourceforge.net/

parse tree for a module to derive the information used in its output,
rather that importing the module directly."
According to the above, our problem with importing wx will be removed.
Sounds like a smarter way to make the docs!
