Thanks for reporting this.
This happens (it is a bug and is fixed in CVS now) when the
user hasn't set a database language yet.
To fix this for you:
- open your config file
- find the line "ignore mismatching system locale"
- comment out that line
- re-start GNUmed
- allow GNUmed to set the db language to pt_BR
(it should ask on startup)
- now storing a translation should work
Items such as document types or encounter types are
translated right in the database so the database needs to
know which language a given user wants to see.
Version 0.3 has this fixed in that one still needs to set
the language but not having a language set will not result
in an error.
Note: it is often useful to set the "debugging" flag in the
login dialog when hunting for errors. 0.3 will do this
automatically when it encounters the first error. If the log
is large you can always send it to me offlist if you wish.
