The demographics plugin will allow you to edit or add names.
When you edit a name it will ask you whether that really is
your intention or whether you'd rather want to *add* a name
(such as when people get married or something).

That isn't really that big of a deal (only sort of) and we
could schedule that for 0.4.

Using pgAdmin III and a bit of knowledge about the database
it is, of course, possible even now.
