It is "Activate+", not "+/-". The - only comes about because

the + is the active letter for the button.

if the above would be kept, the misinterpretation will be perpetuated.

Shall we rename it "Actimove" ?  :-))  (Revate ?)  Just kidding.

I do agree that the "+" isn't particularly telling,

especially so when it is underlined as the Active Letter.

I do use this button daily, however, in the PMS I have to

work with.

Hmm... it is striking me that  – in 0.6 :-)  – at the point where the Remove button would be clicked, the patient is either already in focus (as part of the task completion, as would generally be required to address some task dependency), or -- in the case of the waiting list being used to inform "your patient is here" -- it is the bringing of the patient into focus that completes the task.

Therefore, why not simply have the "Remove" button behave as follows:

Remove the item
If the patient is already in focus
die
If the patient is not in focus
activate the patient
relinquish control to post-activation plugin

The above
- achieves the same as "Activate ±"
- permits deletion of "Activate ±" with the benefit of simplifying the user options

Is there a good argument why chaining removal to patient activation would introduces some undesirable performance penalty? A beneficial side effect of this chaining is to facilitate for this patient a viewing of any as-yet unattended waiting list items which may now be opportune to deal with.
