For the 0.6 release I have done just that - except that the
French translation had some problems which I didn't succeed
in clearing out.

Unless at least the VCS -> Launchpad path is auto-syncable
it'll be quite some work (because the translation target
shifts over time).

The LP -> VCS path will only be executed a few times
shorthly before releases so that'd be OK semi-manually.
