For starters a few remarks.
1) pyinstaller is used to compile the exe
2) nsis is used to package the exe into a installer package
3) creating the exe is done using a handcrafted toolchain of nsis and batch
files
4) the toolchain actually compiles multiple exe and installers (client and
server)
5) the toolchain lets you quickly produce new exe when a new GNUmed is
released
6) making the toolchain run on your system requires downloading, unpacking a
zip file (workplace.zip)
That being said one can start by looking at
http://wiki.gnumed.de/bin/view/Gnumed/GNUmedNSIS
This page is a little oudated and need an update (I will do this tomorrow and
Friday)
