The gm-from-vcs.bat still needs --local-import manually added to override a systemwide install on Windows.http://www.gnumed.de/downloads/client/1.5/ now contains 1.5.7rc3 which offers an improved gm-from-vcs.bat with both --local-import as well as xcopy-rather-than-mklink support included.
