I'm just reporting this rather than trying to fix it so I don't get
distracted. When I start two gnump3d's by accident, I see of course
the error message. However, the problem is that the "$!" is going
thru w/o being intepreted:
Couldn't create the listening socket for receiving incoming
requests upon
Perhaps the port 8888 is already in use?
This is the error message the system returned:
$!
I'm using the latest from CVS.
