Finally, we've got the first release of GNUnet (at least under the new name).
The migration to the GNU servers is not complete yet, you can find the code at
http://gecko.cs.purdue.edu/GNUnet/.

Changes include:

* Bugfixes (0.3.0 used to segfault on startup if the
   local IP could not be determined)
* GProxy is gone (used Java/Swing [not free!])
* gnunet-search and gnunet-download replace GProxy (shell
   tools, GUI will come later)
* complete source reorganization
* 100% protocol compatible with 0.3.0 (and even 0.2.x).

The major work definitely went into porting the Java code to C, so
don't expect tons of new features. If you hate Java and love the shell,
you should upgrade.
There are also some small improvements in ranking/routing and
performance of GNUnet, but they are not essential.

Christian
