Yeah, I agree with Matthias on this: given that the typical student will
take some time to familiarize himself with the code, 3 months isn't even
that much to do something new.

Oh, and basing it on UDP won't work as ICMP requires raw sockets, so
he'll need to go the helper-route (similar to WLAN/Bluetooth) to get
'root' for the raw socket.  So this includes totally enough rope ;-).

My question is more if ICMP is the right priority, how exactly it will
work, and Matthias probably should talk with Wen more to see if Wen is
ready for this adventure. -C
