Is anyone planning on adding something to the GNUstep libraries that will make them binary incompatible (i.e. compared to the current CVS)? It would be nice to start working on getting the next release out. Adding binary compatible changes is still fine, of course.
I'm going to be integrating the next step of PathUtilities changes we've discussed. Also, I'm planning to propose a change so that NSSearchPath() only supports NSxxxDirectory and add GSSearchPath which supports the additional GSxxxDirectory specifiers. This would make writing portable code much easier.
Perhaps we should be managing a stable branch while moving HEAD to the new binary incompatible release?
Regards, Sheldon
