Thanks that works, but a single ./configure and make should be enough. I think there is an incompatibility between those makefiles and gnustep-make or a bug on gnustep-make.

I think this is a problem with gnustep-make, because with Adun I had a similar problem. And after remove some 'ifeq .... endif ' all work fine. But GDL2 can't compile.
