You are correct it is the how system_errno() works. I also see that in:
http://comments.gmane.org/gmane.network.ssh.libssh2.devel/4946

It seems some common buggy code is shared among these systems. If you put an
if (errno==ENOENT) errno=EAGAIN; in system_errno() does it fix the error for
you?
