Hi list,
well, I guess I do not understand how to use
gotmail to forward emails to procmail correctly ....
My system is running SuSE 8.2, postfix 2.0.16,
cyrus-imap 2.1.15.
I added the option:
use-procmail
to my .gotmailrc, and now it looks like this:
username=USERNAME
password=PASSWORD domain=hotmail.com
forward=torsten
save-to-login only-new delete ssl use-procmail
folders=Inbox
retry-limit=3 Now, when running gotmail, I get the following
statements:
Gotmail v0.8.1
Copyright (C) 2000-2003 Peter Hawkins
Gotmail comes with ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY. This is free software, and you are welcome to redistribute it under certain conditions; see the file COPYING for details. Getting hotmail index
page...
Processing java check.... Logging in... Following redirect... Going to Inbox Page: http://sea2fdsea2.hotmail.msn.com/cgi-bin/HoTMail Loading main display... $folder_index_url->/cgi-bin/folders? Loading folder list... Processing Folder: "Inbox", Total messages: 7, Unread messages: 5. Loading folder "Inbox" page 1... Getting email message... Sending mail message to procmail...Done. Deleting message... Getting email message... [ ... ]
Ok, for me that looks fine till now.
But no emails were put to my mailaccount ..... so I
checked the logfiles, and found this in /var/log/mail.info:
Jan 10 10:23:28 router
postfix/pickup[2175]: 6690F189C382: uid=500 from=<>
Jan 10 10:23:28 router postfix/cleanup[2566]: 6690F189C382: message-id=<address@hidden> Jan 10 10:23:28 router postfix/cleanup[2566]: 6690F189C382: to=<unknown>, relay=cleanup, delay=0, status=bounced (No recipients specified) Jan 10 10:24:21 router postfix/local[2607]: rewrite stream disconnect I guess that i depends on "to=<unknown>" ... but how can I solve this? Could anybody give me a hint, please?
Thanks in advance!!!
c y
