OK, I think there is some bug ticked with likely "-n" (and possibly
"-G", but not tested)

With "-n", running "gpspipe -r", then adding a device using gpsdctl, I
have managed to get the gpsd output to look like it's hung (-D 5).  In
fact I *suspect* that the issue is that the baud rate is actually 115200
(so says stty), but gpsd says 9600 (which the gpsd needs) and hence no
output

Any chance of a quick fix?
