Just do this while your GPS/AIS is running:

# gpspipe -R -n 120 -o tmp.log

That puts 120 sentences of the raw data into the file tmp.log.  Then
just email tmp.log to this list as an accatachment.

Please do that for us.  AIS knowledge is lmied here, we are mostly
landlubbers.
