imho, it could be good to have both projects merged so more developers
can help to improve the tool. i'm only not sure if the goals of both
projects are the same...

Yes. Could be good to have all tools using it to choose burner
options... like libburn is also a good abstraction tool to avoid a lot
of dependencies and to have a common and shared code base for burning tools.
