I can use cdrecord to successfully access a remote cdrom. eg:
bash-3.00$ cdrecord dev=REMOTE:address@hidden:0,0,0 -scanbus
Cdrecord-Clone 2.01 (i686-pc-linux-gnu) Copyright (C) 1995-2004 Jörg Schilling
scsidev: 'REMOTE:address@hidden:0,0,0'
devname: 'REMOTE:address@hidden:0,0,0'
scsibus: 0 target: 0 lun: 0
Warning: Using remote SCSI interface.
Using libscg version 'schily-0.8'.
scsibus0:

        0,2,0 2) *
        0,3,0 3) *
        0,4,0 4) *
        0,5,0 5) *
        0,6,0 6) *
        0,7,0 7) *
bash-3.00$
When I try and write to the device REMOTE:address@hidden:0,0,0 from inside
Graveman (0.3.12) the only response I get is "Currently: no media". Are there
any tricks I need to know about when accessing rscsi devices?
