Then, please fix the subtle bug. Why can't we make incremental development? I 
don't like to rewrite everything every time someone finds a bug.

Because it was not supported when GRUB Legacy was developed.

I don't object to adding such support. But please keep it in mind that we 
should support old kernels as well.
