There are many reasons why Guile and Emacs Lisp cannot trivially
exchange data via `read' and `write' besides this one.
There are some syntax differences -- is that what you are referring
to? Those can be solved with options to `read' and `write' -- the
()/#f issue can not.
There are types in each language not found in the other -- is that
what you are referring to? There is a large subset of basic types
found in both.
I am not sure if this issue is worth debating further.
