Not really. I never even saw any of the info first hand. I was just
working on tracking down a suspiciously similar, repeatable crash
while trying to port gnucash to guile 1.5.X. I spent several days
trying to figure it out, and then suddenly, I believe after a Debian
update, the bug vanished. I asked around and Bill and Jim both said:
"oh yeah, sorry I didn't make the connection, but it may well have
been libc. There was a nasty memory bug that was causing problems
in galeon, mozilla, and one of the java implementations."
That's the extent of my knowledge, though Jim said that there may be
something mentioned in the libc changelog(s).
Sorry I don't have better info.
