Sounds reasonable to aim for 2.2.1 instead of 2.2.

As for copyright assignment, that is assumed (it is a GNU package with copyright assigned to FSF, so assignment is required for anything more than 10 lines), though I have yet to sign a document assigning it. So I do need the stuff to sign to properly assign it. I was planning on needing to sign it (another reason getting it into 2.2 might not be tenable).

Great work!

For what it's worth, I think we probably don't have time to get this in
for 2.2.0.  I think we should expect to go back and forth for a couple
weeks at least to get things right; so we can look forward to this being
a nice 2.2.1 feature.

I think along with this work, we should add --r6rs and --r7rs
command-line options to make the initial environment when running a
script be R6RS or R7RS, respectively, rather than Guile's native
environment.

Are you OK with assigning copyright to the FSF?  If so I will send you
details privately.  I understand that everything is online these days so
it's not so much of a wait.

Cheers,

Andy
