I've long been struggling to get guile-gnome-platform to run on NetBSD
(from only released packages), and just updated it to 2.15.93, packaging
guile-cairo 1.4.0 along the way (linked with cairo 1.4.10). Guile-cairo
packaging was very easy, and guile-gnome-platform built and installed
fine. So thanks for all the work, and you can take this as a
portability vote of confidence.
(pkgsrc is multi-platform packing system, native on NetBSD and
Dragonfly, and usable on Solaris, Linux, Darwin, and several others.)
