Hi,

As announced at FOSDEM,[1] I now released Wisp 1.0:

   https://www.draketo.de/english/wisp#v1.0

At this point wisp the language is complete. And from what Ricardo said
at FOSDEM, I think it achieves its goal:

“Wisp allows people to see code how Lispers perceive it.
     Its structure becomes apparent.”
     — Ricardo Wurmus[2]

Therefore I’d like to repeat what I asked for at FOSDEM: The next time
you write pseudocode, please try making it executable with Wisp. That
gives you all the capabilities of Guile Scheme, but easier to grasp for
non-lispers.

I do not see changes coming to wisp syntax at the moment, so the 1.0 is
a good time to give it a try. Should you find out that it does not fit,
wisp provides wisp2lisp as plan B: wisp2lisp converts any wisp file to a
Scheme file by adding parentheses, preserving comments.

But maybe you will find out that you like using wisp for some usecases.
Whatever you find, please tell me about your experience!

Best wishes and happy hacking!
- Arne
