Like others I don't understand how these concerns relate to Guix.

I'm sad you decided to leave the Guix project – which is about to become 
reality – due to some "visionary" point which I consider to not related to 
Guix. It's a bit like not helping people to get drinking water since they have 
the vision to make their own Coke.

Anyway, it's your decision.
