yes. but it have, for each link, to:

1 - request header;
2 - download source code;
3 - process HTML.

I think that optimizations can be done:

- keep alive connections;
- use regexp to parse HTML

I don't know if this will be done for 0.6.0, but it is planed for futur
releases.

for the moment I suggest you to turn of "Retrieve content of non HTML
files" and "Also check HTML comments" in the "Filters/Documents"
notebook, also for "Retrieve images content" in the "Filters/Images",
and "Email syntax" with "Check MX" in "Filters/Protocols".

-> it depend also of both your and remote connection speed.
