hddtemp looks very useful and wonderful but my shop is 75% windows
and the windows side doesn't have such a handy utility that I've yet
been able to find.
Dtemp is not command line driven. No source is available.
hddtemp.com's version crashes on the two machines I tried it on. I can't
tell you if its command line driven because it dies.
Has somebody considered a windows port for hddtemp's open source code?
Is there somebody intelligent that knows "can't be done because windows
architecture prohibits that kind of call" or something useful?
I checked the archives that go back to 2007 and nobody seems to be asking.
I really didn't want to waste your time. Ignore me if this is covered
every week.
I saw no FAQ that covered it.
