Well, maybe there is a misunderstanding here: I thought you meant to implement DR into Bison itself? Since your last appearance on Bison ML, a lot of effort were made to ease your task to implement DR into GNU Bison: the interface has been simplified a lot (I mean the programmer interface), many things have been cleaned up etc. It was made especially for people willing to implement something more powerful than LALR. So please, don't tell me you are going to release yet another Bison? This would be a _big_ mistake for the whole community. This is depressing. So much effort was put in making your task simpler... Not Yayayayayacc, the community needs a powerful tool, not millions of small tools.
I am very glad to hear that from you. I had not installed yet the new version of Bison cause I thought it will be more difficult. I had analyzed the sourse code from 1.28 in order to modified the Bison. Now I have to talk to my project's tutor, and I think they will be agree using the new version of Bison. (First I have to analyzed the source code)
About of the new version I have a question (note i haven't seen the source yet) how can I add a new parser file? ( I mean bison.simple or bison.hairy. cause the DR method needs a different parser)
And what about the development enviroment? Thank you very much. _________________________________________________________________Descargue GRATUITAMENTE MSN Explorer en http://explorer.yupimsn.com/intl.asp.
