QUESTION: trying to speed up "make install"

Hi, everytime I run "make install", it does this...

installing ast.gmo as /usr/local/share/locale/ast/LC_MESSAGES/bison-runtime.mo
installing da.gmo as /usr/local/share/locale/da/LC_MESSAGES/bison-runtime.mo
installing de.gmo as /usr/local/share/locale/de/LC_MESSAGES/bison-runtime.mo
installing el.gmo as /usr/local/share/locale/el/LC_MESSAGES/bison-runtime.mo
installing eo.gmo as /usr/local/share/locale/eo/LC_MESSAGES/bison-runtime.mo
installing es.gmo as /usr/local/share/locale/es/LC_MESSAGES/bison-runtime.mo
installing et.gmo as /usr/local/share/locale/et/LC_MESSAGES/bison-runtime.mo
...

Is this for multilanguage support?

I only need english, anyway I can speed this up?
