Because they seemed like an anomoly, and they significantly muddy up that
directory. I'd at least like them in a subdirectory.

It's not a mail message, it's a syslog message. Either way, that's pretty
verbose, since it means that every host on my network would generate about
20 syslog messages every 5 minutes. That's very bad.
