I have a couple of hosts that are part of an overall class that I want a
particular action to occur on, but on these hosts, I have to exclude them
from this class.
The overall class is very large, so I'd rather do an exclude of the three
hosts, rather than define a new class of a hundred hosts
Here's what I have
sunos_5_7|sunos_5_8.!192_168_0_1|192_168_0_2|192_168_0_3::
Here's how I want it to work
perform action on all hosts that are sunos_5_7 or sunos_5_8, and not
192_168_0_1 or 192_168_0_2 or 192_168_0_3
the following definition up above doesnt seem to work
it seems to work fine up to 192_168_0_1, but at 192_168_0_2 it doesn't
match.
Can someone possibly show me what I'm doing wrong, or possibly explain it
better, or even point to the tutorial or reference where I might find the
answer.
I would appreciate it.
Solaris 8 running cfengine 2.0.8p1
