newbie question ...

All,
currently just installed cfengine version 2.1.11. 
Have the basic update.conf and cfagent.conf in
/var/cfengine/input dir.  My next question is how do I
test it out?  Will I need to a manuall install of
cfengine on other server as well?  Or will I just have
to copy some part of it over and run some cf command
to sync up the changes? Thanks.
