Hello,With reference to the above subject, i have a problem regarding the installed directories after 'make install'of GRUB-2.00. According to the document, the directories to be installed after a successful 'make install' are /usr/lib/grub, /etc/grub.d, /usr/share/grub, /boot/grub. But in my case, the /boot/grub doesn't get installed. (The other ones listed, get installed properly) This problem reflects when i try to boot my LFS. While i try to do that, i get an error which says "Error 13 :Invalid or unsupported executable format". Now i assume that, this could be because of the missing files that it tries to find in /boot/grub directory. Since the /boot/grub directory doesn't get installed, where should i create the grub.cfg (/boot/grub/grub.cfg)file when my grub directory itself is missing? I failed to figure out the reason for an unsuccessful installation of the /boot/grub directory. Also, what would be the consequences if i manually create the /boot/grub directory in LFS and copy paste the files of my host's /boot/grub?
My machine details are: Operating System - CentOS release 6.4 (Final). Machine Hardware name - i686 File System - ext3 Hardware Platform - i386
