Is this feature a POP3 feature or an MUA (gnus or OE) feature?
Since I don't know POP3 and it's features, I can't say. But
it sounds like POP3 has comands that would let it be used like IMAP.
And it sounds like the feature selection in the OE box is allowing
some behind-the-scenes POP3-as-IMAP functionality.
"Good guess" or "way off base"?
