Hi,
There are two versions of gnuserv as far as I know that can both be
used:
1. Nico Francois' gnuserv 2.1 distribution with gnuserv.el updated by
Pete Kaiser
<address@hidden>. The date of the exe's is 02/27/1997 and the
gnuserv.el is from
10/03/1998. This version uses mailslots.
2. The version from Guy Gascoigne <address@hidden> which is mentioned
in the FAQ
uses TCP/IP. In the past I had some trouble using it on a
non-networked machine.
The exe's in this version are dated 09/11/1999.
I would suggest to use Guy Gascoigne's version unless you run into
trouble on a non-networked machine. In that case switch to Nico
Francois' version. I can mail it to you if need be.
Cheers,
Karel

I looked at that, and it was unclear.
