Problem while scrolling in Emacs

Hi all,
        When I scroll the file with scroll-bar, the cursor also moves. I
don't want the cursor to move when I scroll with scroll-bar, it should stay
remain at its position. How do I do that? I am using GNU Emacs 20.7 in
Solaris and in NT 4.0. Any help would be highly appreciated.
