  The CVS seems broken for bootstrapping again. Please try an earlier
  version (yesterday's) or try doing this after updating to the latest
  version before running `make bootstrap':

    cvs update -r 1.272 lisp/faces.el
    cvs update -r 1.29 lisp/cus-face.el
