Problem with Emacs 21.2 - doesn't seem to be a bug :-) ...

Hello,

I'm currently running Emacs 21.2 under Debian Woody 3.0r0. But I face a problem 
: Emacs is working great
under my root accout, but is not working at all under my user account. When I 
type emacs in the shell, I am
told that the following errors occur :

Warning : locale not supported by C library- locale unchanged
No fonts match '-*-*-medium-r-normal--14-*-*-*-c-*-iso8859-15'

I don't know what to do with that. Could someone help, please ? Thank you....

My desktop environment is KDE 2.2, and I have installed kde-i18n-fr to have 
menus in french.
