cannot edit any files in copy ov svn repository

Hi.  I am starting to get a lot of svn repositories and whenever I try
to edit a file in such a tree I just get the following message 
http://savannah.gnu.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs/emacs/emacs/lisp/vc-svn.el is
the new cannonical location of vc-svn.el  and no file.

Any assistance would be appreciated.
