I typed in "xfontsel" and a window came up one line that said, "-fndry-
fmly
-wght-slant-sWdh-adstyl-pxlsz-ptSz-resx-resy-spc-avgWdth-rgstry-
encdng".
Down beneath that was another line that read,
"-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*".  There were only two buttons, one
that read "quit" and one that read "select".  How do I tell from this
whether font <Courier 10> is available?
