hi -
emacs 21.2.1 (via fink),
Mac OSX 10.4.11,
kernel 8.11.0, (etc..).
when font-locking latex quoted characters,
''this is a font lock demo'' <--this is all green, including quotes
''this is a $font$ lock demo'' <-- all normal except the $font$, which is
green
.... why is this so?
i tried switching quotes (") for apostrophes ('), no change. i don't have
any latex-specific font-locking set in my .emacs.el, and i removed
.Xdefaults, which is plain anyways.
