w32-grep.el should definitively be installed. So something is wrong. The
file itself should be in

  EmacsW32/lisp/w32-grep.el

Can you find it there?


Any ides where the file has to reside?
Whole Google is veery silent about it.

after reinstalling the fiel is there!
