[Help-gnu-radius] Gnu-radius under RedHat 7.1

I've compiled gnu-radius v. 0.95 under RedHat 7.1.
When I run radtes I've got:
ERROR: Unbound variable: format
 
To fix it I hade to put these lines on session.scm:
(use-modules (ice-9 format))

I would like to know if this version is stable enough to use on a production environment under RedHat 7.1 and Postgresql 7.1 and what is the best way to compile and install it.
