[Help-gnu-radius] rlogin doesn't pass the user ID... |

...I am guessing that's why users have to enter their login info twice:
once for radius authentication and one for rlogin prompt.
I am pretty sure it is not /etc/hosts.equiv problem, all the nas names
are included there and it works just fine for all the other hosts
This is my user file:
DEFAULT Auth-Type = System
Service-Type = Login-User,
Login-Service = rlogin,
Login-IP-Host = 192.168.1.2
This is what I think are the corresponding entries in the
/var/log/messages of the gerard host (192.168.1.2)
May 16 09:30:06 Gerard login(pam_unix)[7141]: bad username []
May 16 09:30:06 Gerard login[7141]: FAILED LOGIN 2 FROM
rigid.ds.consumer.com FOR , Authentication failure
May 16 09:30:11 Gerard login(pam_unix)[7141]: session opened for user
burkette by (uid=0)
May 16 09:30:11 Gerard -- burkette[7141]: LOGIN ON pts/165 BY burkette
FROM rigid.ds.consumer.com
When the user is redirected to rlogin to 192.168.1.2, the user name is
not passed along hence the empty [], then she gets the prompt and logs
in as burkette. You see how that would be inconvenient, having to log in
twice. Any ideas?
I am also having trouble replying to Sergey's follow-up questions, they
appear on the archives page but my replies don't. I tried to just reply
to his e-mail but that didn't seem to do it.
Thanks
Alex
